ECU Master EMU Black PNP Adaptor

This harness adaptor allows you to connect the ECU Master EMU Black engine management system to an XR5 / MK2 RS. By using this plug and play harness, all dash features and functionality can be retained. Everything is provided as a kit so that an EMU Black can be plugged directly into the factory Focus engine loom without modification required.  

After hundreds of hours of testing, this item has been completely redesigned from the ground up by an XR5 owner, specifically for XR5 / MK2 RS owners. It addresses multiple issues that are prevalent in the official ECU Master adapter.

• This PNP adapter harness is specifically designed to relocate the EMU Black into the interior of the vehicle. Intended position - inside glove box. Keep your engine bay nice and tidy - the ECU is completely out of sight.
• The factory brake switch is connected which grants access to the EMU Black cruise control feature - an absolute must have feature. Note: CANBUS keypad or custom auxiliary harness is required to use feature
• 12 pin breakout is provided as standard - ready for future expandability - auxiliary sensor harness can be optioned (custom made for customer requirements). Standard options are as follows:
  
  • Flex fuel input
  • Additional sensor inputs - oil pressure, temp, coolant pressure etc.
  • 12v, 5v, 0v power output
• Non standard options can be added by custom request. These options are as follows:
  • AWD PWM output (requires additional product to retain AC functionality)
  • CANBUS - EGT, EDL-1 Logger, BT Module, GPS
  • Other custom options can be discussed

XRV CP XR5 / MK2 RS Auxiliary Harness & Sensors:
The auxiliary harness is an optional extra that is located in the engine bay of the XR5. This harness is responsible for the communication of additional sensors –

Included as standard:

• Bosch Motorsport combined oil temperature and pressure sensor - including required fittings / adaptors for engine block
• Flex fuel sensor

This auxiliary harness will directly connect to the XRV CP ECU Master EMU Black PNP Adapter. The harness will also connect directly to the included sensors. Optionally, it will connect to any combination of sensors that the customer has opted for at the time of production. Have an idea? Get in touch!

The ECU adapter harness is manufactured in a fashion where future expandability is taken into consideration - additional spare pins are available.

DBW Adapter:

Included is a DBW adapter for the throttle pedal. This adapter is used for the EMU Black to understand and respond to throttle pedal movement - completely plug and play for ease of install.
