Installing this wiring can be done in as little as 2 minutes - plugs directly into factory wiring harness. For the end user this means:
No modification needs to be made to the original body harness
No need for tapping into the BCM for power
Easy, simple and risk free installation
Each wiring harness is provided with a pinout diagram. The diagram displays information for the following outputs:
Permanent 12v
Ignition 12v
Ground 0v
Headlight Power - for gauge dimming
Each individual wire in the harness is delivered already tinned with solder. Using crimp connectors or terminals? - simply cut the wire back and strip for crimping.
To ensure you receive the correct wiring harness, selection is required:
Driver side = gauge placement on right side of steering wheel (retaining original gauge cluster).
Passenger side = gauge placement on left side of steering wheel (retaining original gauge cluster).
Top pod = gauge placement in top pod (removing original gauge cluster).
