Bosch Downpipe O2 Sensor

A genuine Bosch wideband O2 sensor designed to monitor the air fuel ratio of the exhaust gases directly after the turbocharger. The sensor provides the ECU with accurate information about the engine's air fuel mixture, allowing it to make the necessary fuel trim adjustments to keep the engine running correctly.

These sensors are a critical part of the engine management system and can deteriorate over time. They often provide no warning before failing, making replacement important when an ageing or faulty sensor is suspected.

Genuine Bosch: Bosch is the OEM supplier of the O2 sensor used by Ford. A genuine Ford branded sensor is effectively the same Bosch sensor with Ford branding applied.
