Bosch Catalytic Converter O2 Sensor

A genuine Bosch O2 sensor designed to monitor the efficiency of the catalytic converter. The sensor provides a secondary reading that the ECU can compare against the downpipe O2 sensor, allowing the engine management system to verify that the catalytic converter is operating as expected.

Located at the catalytic converter on the under side of the car - near the join from front to rear doors.

Like the downpipe sensor, these can deteriorate over time and often provide little or no warning before failure. Replacing an ageing or faulty sensor can help ensure the ECU continues to receive accurate readings and properly monitor the emissions system.

Genuine Bosch: Bosch is the OEM supplier for Ford's O2 sensors. A genuine Ford-branded sensor is effectively the same Bosch sensor with Ford branding applied.
