This crankshaft position sensor bracket is a direct replacement for the original factory mount and is designed to bolt straight into place.

A broken crankshaft position sensor bracket is a common occurrence during gearbox removals. If the gearbox isn't removed carefully it can catch on the bracket and easily snap it, leaving the crankshaft position sensor with nowhere to mount.

Note: This bracket is essential for the engine to run. Without the crankshaft position sensor correctly mounted in the bracket and connected to the engine wiring harness, the ECU cannot determine the crankshaft position and the vehicle will not start or run.
