Flex fuel (composition) sensor is used to detect the ethanol percentage / content and petrol fuel blend being sent through the orifice of the sensor.
When connected and calibrated into an ECU, it enables the vehicle to be operated on a blend of E85 and petrol. The ECU is then able to adjust the fuel delivery and ignition timing based on ethanol content.
Genuine Continental sensor as used from factory in many brands of vehicles - not a cheap replica.
Sensor uses 3/8 quick connect fittings. Otherwise known as EFI fittings.
